Webinar, Certainty shapes good strategy

Abstract:
What if we move our DC? What if we change our routes? What if overall network management could be simplified?

Do you find yourself thinking about these questions without knowing where to start? Do you want to eliminate the guesswork?

This interactive session brings together thought leaders, academics and industry experts to explore supply chain network modelling. The panel will discuss, how using scenario modelling, you can de-risk strategic and tactical changes leveraging data to make informed decisions.

We will show how you can quickly understand the impact of changes before applying them real-life. This ensures the expected outcomes by quantifying the business case for changes, whilst further identifying quick-wins and hidden benefits.

Presentations:
>> Eric Orillat, Introduction to Flo IQ – pdf
>> Joakim Wikner, Supply Chain Network Modelling – pdf

Agenda

10.00-10.10 – Introduction. Dr. Roger Lindau, Senior Executive Advisor, SCM  – Oracle

10.10-10.25 – Supply Chain Network Modelling. Major international businesses often have long and complex multi-leg logistics networks crossing many country borders and transport modes. The true nature of these networks are often not visible to the range of stakeholders involved in delivering class leading customer service at the optimum cost to deliver that service. Consequently there is substantial value to be unlocked from technologies that provide this end to end visibility, expose the underlying supply chain metrics and provide the tools to optimise the service cost balance from strategic design to operational delivery
Prof. Joakim Wikner, Professor Operations and SCM – Jönköping University

10.25-10.35 – Q&A

10.35-11.05 – Identify hidden benefits within your Logistics Network. We will explore how Flo IQ, our Identify and Quantify Accelerator, allows you to quickly simulate new transportation scenarios and uncover hidden benefits within your transportation operations. We leverage your transport data and identify quick-win opportunities while quantifying the business case for larger improvements like systems implementation.
Eric Orillat, Solution Architect – Flo Group

11.05-11.20 – Q&A

11.20-11.30 – Summary and closing
